Salsa on1 for Beginners

Salsa is an upbeat, synchronistic latin dance form combining afro-cuban steps and musical influence. On1 (LA Style) begins the steps on the first beat.

If this is your first time dancing salsa, or even if you are a seasoned dancer, getting back to the basics is crucial!

Our beginners classes focus on learning the foundational salsa steps and partner work combinations, emphasizing technique, rhythm, and proper leading/following for safe and fun dancing!

Originating from the Dominican Republic, this suave, romantic dance focuses on partner connection and body movement isolations.

Our bachata dance begins with learning the foundations of this dance style - from basic steps to turns and proper leading/following. We will learn the foundations of body movement isolation and various partner dancing techniques in bachata from traditional to sensual to fusion/modern styles.

Intermediate/Advanced Salsa on1

Once you have mastered the foundations, we will use that knowledge to build upon your dance skills. Our intermediate and advanced classes focus more on musicality, styling, and learning more complicated patterns and footwork.

Take all that you know and begin to tap into your unique style!

Salsa on2 (New York Style) begins the steps on the second beat.

Argentine tango style focuses on the connection between the music and the partners, full of expression and improvisation.

Heels is a mix of hip-hop, go-go and jazz-funk, performed in high heels (though always optional).
